benchtours have transformed a huge industrial vehicle into the spectacular yet intimate theatre stagetruck. Step inside and be transported into the film noir world of The Psychic Detective - a man on a journey in search of the lost. With 45 minutes of drama, glamour, excitement, multi-media illusions and theatrical tricks you'll be enthralled by this darkly comic new thriller. Part of the Carrbridge Live Festival 2007. The theatre stagetruck with be stationed in the grounds of Carrbridge Primary School.

A celebration of Japanese Taiko drumming.

Traditional Japanese Taiko drumming. Experience the thundering and powerful rhythms interweaved with flute, bells and percussion in an intimate and entertaining show, and gain a unique insight into the enthralling world of Taiko drumming. A concert which is visually and aurally spellbinding.

Mike Maran Productions presents.....

A photographer on his way to a Picasso assignment picks up a young hitchiker. He takes the boy with him and Picasso paints his portrait. Several years later, he sees a portrait in an art gallery which evokes powerful memories of that day at Picasso's house and the paintings he saw of the artist's father and his sons - and he thinks about his own father and his own sons.
The story unfolds to an original soundtrack composed by Karen Wimhust with all the passion and charm that master actor come storyteller, Mike Maran packs into his performances.

EXHIBITION OF ANTIQUE ACCORDIONS
Duthhil Church Hall, Carrbridge 11am - 4pm
A rare chance to see a stunning display of antique accordions, some dating back to 1850 from a collection of more than 200 owned by accordion collector, Caroline Hunt. All musicians welcome and if anyone knows of any Polish, Czech and Russian musicians please invite them along for a tune. There will be a number of Polish, Czech and Russian instruments on display.
